3-2-1 Open Tournament

18TH AND 19TH OCTOBER -

72 bowlers entered in our Direkt Optik 321 Open this year. Another successful competition played in almost perfect conditions. Teams playing 5 games consisting of 6 ends Triples, 6 ends Pairs and finally 6 ends Singles. Time allowed this year was 1 hour 40 minutes (though this may be subject to review next year!) Congratulations to this years winners Greg Sperring and Christine Harris of Calpe BC playing with El Cids Bernard Power. They amassed an impressive score of 37 points out of a possible 40! In second place with 34 points were the all El Cid team of Paul Trunchion, Norma Warillow and Jill Glastonbury. Pauls last bowl in the Singles keeping his team 1 point clear of Alan Phillips (El Cid), Dee and Keith Hamilton (Javea Green BC!?) in 3rd place. Presentations made by Club Captain Stewart Beattie.
